I would recommend anyone needing breast surgery to go Mr Davies. He is calm and kind, but also factual about your situation and structured in taking you through what might and what will need to happen. Nothing is rushed, you have time to ask questions and he gives you the confidence to face whatever may be ahead of you. Most of all he is a brilliant surgeon and extremely knowledgeable in the field of breast disease and it's treatment. I decided many years ago that if I ever needed breast surgery, Mr Davies would be the person I wanted to look after me. I was not disappointed.

After the discovery of my breast lump, I was so incredibly lucky to have been recommended to Giles Davies by my GP, and I couldn't recommend him more highly. Since the beginning of this year he has so wonderfully guided me along my breast cancer journey, from initial diagnosis through hormone treatment and then surgery (lumpectomy). Giles is that very special mix of highly skilled and hugely knowledgable combined with an ability to guide, advise and impart knowledge in an incredibly warm, kind and sensitive way. He listens and truly understands the human side of the medical condition. I've felt safe in his hands and felt that he's been thinking of me at every step along my journey, tailoring my treatment throughout, to achieve the best outcome for me. I also like that Giles is an active part of a broader multidisciplinary team, meeting regularly with other leading practitioners to discuss cases. I feel this can only have added to my already outstanding medical treatment. I would recommend Giles without hesitation.

Mr Giles Davies not only listens, he is willing to engage in a dialogue which is carefully adjusted to the sensitivity of the patient. His knowledge is wonderfully wide and varied; it is highly unusual to find a surgeon of his eminence in the 'conventional' treatment of breast cancer who is willing to hear the holistic side of the treatment protocols. He handled my case with great care and I did feel always I could not be in better hands. Most highly recommended.

The care and attention I have received thus far from Dr. Davies and his nurses has been extremely comforting and attentive. He answered all of my questions so carefully, even the ones lurking below the surface that I hadn't quite formulated. He kept in close contact with me regarding test results and helped me absorb my situation and move forward well informed. I can honestly say this has been an uplifting experience as a result of how well looked after I have felt. Dr. Davies is clearly a master of his craft both in knowledge and his ability to impart it and collaborate with his patients.
